• What do you do?
Y’s Business Solutions is in the business of providing you with the information that you need to make better and more
informed business decisions. We provide high quality financial management services, bookkeeping, payroll, quarterly
and year end payroll tax returns, sales tax reports, management and financial reports, and general business
consulting. Our services are tailored to fit each business’s needs.
• What accounting software do you use?
We primarily use QuickBooks accounting software, and have two QuickBooks pro advisors on our staff. However, we
have experience with many different accounting software packages, including Peachtree, Great Plains and PeopleSoft to
name a few.
• Are you a CPA Firm?
No, we provide financial management services. Our focus is on the day to day bookkeeping and financial reporting you
need for the management of your business. Yvonne Secretan, founder and CEO, is a Master of Business Administration
who has the skills, experience and education to help your business to succeed. As a financial management services
company, our focus is on the doing, rather than the reviewing of your books and financial transactions.
• Do you do taxes?
We can prepare and file your payroll tax returns and sales tax returns, however we are not experts in income tax
preparation and do not provide those services. What we do provide are the schedules and supporting documentation
that your tax accountant needs to prepare accurate income tax returns while reducing the amount of time you spend
collecting this information for them.
• How do we exchange documents and how do you access our financial records?
We have many different ways of exchanging documents; email, fax, mail or courier services. Depending upon the
software you use and the services that you need, we work with you to determine the best way to set up your books,
including remote access. This is thoroughly reviewed and discussed during the initial meeting to determine your needs
and how Y’s Business Solutions can best meet them.

We have clients in manufacturing, wholesale, retail, architecture, game and website development, marketing services,
real estate development and construction. We have the skills and education to do the research necessary to ensure

• How long have you been in business?
Y’s Business Solutions was founded in June 2006, and formed as a Limited Liability Company in 2007. Yvonne Secretan
has worked as Controller, Vice President of Operations and Financial Director for several private companies with over 25
years of experience before deciding to start her own firm and offer high quality financial management services to
business owners who either do not have the resources or need to hire a full –time, in-house controller or financial
officer, or do not want to hire, train and manage an in-house bookkeeper.
How To Get Started:
• How do you charge for your services?
We work with each business to determine the monthly services needed and supply you with a customized proposal
detailing the services to be supplied with a fixed monthly fee for those services. The monthly fee is based upon the
complexities of your business activities and volume of transactions. We have three levels of staffing:
properly document and review your business activities.
• Where are you located?
We are in South Austin, located behind Central Market South at 4701 West Gate Blvd. We do have clients in North
Austin, Round Rock and even California, so we can work with you wherever you are located.
• How do I get started?
The first step is to schedule a meeting with Yvonne Secretan to review your business activities and service needs. Once
we throughly understand your business we will prepare a proposal for your review and consideration including the next
